Audi India will launch the 2026 Audi Q3 in the country on 16 October 2026, with prices to be announced at the event. The third-generation Q3 is the first all-new Audi to arrive in India and will be locally assembled at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 55 lakh to Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). The India-spec SUV will be offered in two variants, Nova and Zenith, and gets a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive. It also brings a fully redesigned cabin with dual screens, a Sonos sound system and an ADAS suite.

  1. Gets a new upright design with split headlamps, a larger grille and connected LED tail-lamps
  2. Cabin is completely redesigned, with dual screens, Sonos audio and a panoramic sunroof
  3. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with Quattro AWD; no diesel or hybrid for India

Bookings are already open at a token amount of Rs 1 lakh through Audi’s website, the myAudi Connect app and authorised dealerships. Deliveries are expected to begin after the launch.

2026 Audi Q3 variants

Two variants on offer: Nova and Zenith

The Nova is the entry-level variant. It gets LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, an illuminated Audi logo, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs with memory function, and a 10-speaker Audi sound system.

The Zenith is the top variant. Over the Nova, it adds digital matrix headlights with digital light signatures, headlight washers, white wood inserts inside, a twin-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, USB-C charging ports, a 12-speaker Sonos sound system, a head-up display (HUD) and nine airbags with proactive occupant protection.

2026 Audi Q3 powertrain

A 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with Quattro AWD is the only option

The India-spec Q3 uses a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, direct-injection turbo-petrol engine producing around 204hp and 320Nm. Power goes to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and Audi’s Quattro AWD system, which is expected to be standard across the range. Audi claims a 0-100kph time of about 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 229kph. Europe gets diesel and plug-in hybrid versions of the Q3, but neither is planned for India.

Note: Some reports quote 200hp and others 204hp for the same engine. Official India figures will be confirmed at launch.

2026 Audi Q3 exterior design

More upright stance, split headlamps and a bigger grille

The third-generation Q3 looks sharper and more upright than the model it replaces. At the front it gets a larger hexagonal grille with Audi’s new 2D logo, a split-headlamp setup and configurable LED daytime running lights. The body-coloured cladding and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels add to the SUV look. At the rear, split LED tail-lamps are joined by a light bar with an illuminated Audi logo in the middle.

2026 Audi Q3 interior and features

Dual screens, Sonos audio and a Level 2 ADAS suite

The biggest changes are inside. The new Q3 gets an 11.9-inch digital driver’s display and a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other highlights include a four-spoke steering wheel, a steering column-mounted gear selector, a Sonos sound system, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and a 360-degree camera.

The ADAS suite includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and lane assist, among other features.

Our take

With local assembly, a petrol-only Quattro setup and a feature-heavy cabin, the new Q3 is aimed squarely at the BMW X1 LWB and Mercedes-Benz GLA buyer. The real question is how close to the older Q3’s price Audi manages to keep it, and that answer comes on 16 October.
